The Valley, as this intersection has been referred to for many years, is already home to two fuel stations, a restaurant, hotel and an aerial lift rental  company.  A new bike trail runs through the Valley Business Park as well.

T-Bone Recreational Trail

New smooth-surfaced 10 mile bike trail that is enjoyed by both serious bike-riders and beginners, runs from I-80 to three miles south of the Valley Business Park.  At the Aububon/Cass County line it runs seven miles north to Exira, Iowa.

In 2007 the Iowa Department of Transportation will connect the two trails after rebuilding the I-80/Highway 71 interchange creating 11 miles of continuous trail.

Eventually the trail will be extended even further.
